Min Tang presents at the International Association for Media and Communication Research 2018 Conference

IAS faculty member Min Tang attended the 2018 International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) conference at University of Oregon, Eugene. Tang presented two papers: 鈥淢edia Education in Contentious Times: Integrating Critical Media Literacy and Global Citizenship Awareness鈥� in the Media Education Research Section, and 鈥淪ustaining Growth or Crisis? Toward a Financialization of China鈥檚 Internet Industry鈥� in the International Communication Section. Tang鈥檚 presentations reflected her pedagogical practice in IAS classrooms and her research in global Internet industry. IAMCR is a global professional association of media and communication researchers, with Special Consultative Status with UNESCO and with the UN Economic and Social Council.
