Becca Price publishes 鈥淎nnotations of LSE Research: Students identify how to support their transfer from community college鈥�
IAS faculty member Becca Price and her colleagues Joel Abrahm (Cal State Fullerton), MacKenzie Gray (Portland State), and Erin Shortlidge (Portland State), published a that introduce scholars to methods used to research strategies for supporting transfer students perusing degrees in the sciences. The by Gray et al. identifies concrete ways to reduce the shock that students experience when they transfer to universities from community colleges. The annotations by Price and colleagues focus on methods that the authors used, such as how social scientists propose and adapt theoretical constructs.
