Leadership degree accelerates career move

A principal who earned her master’s degree in leadership at ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓÆµ was recently honored as one of 18 to receive the Washington State Regional Distinguished Principal award from the Association of Washington School Principals. Bonnie McKerney is principal at Maltby Elementary.

Alum’s business destroyed in blast

The Mr. Gyros shop owned by ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓÆµ alum Sammy Arsheed – also the operator of a popular food truck on campus -- was one of the businesses destroyed in an early-morning natural gas explosion Wednesday in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood.
