First-Year Autumn Admitted Students
The A&O Process will be available to Autumn Admit First-Year Students starting May 1st

After completing the Advising & Orientation process, we hope you will feel connected to the campus, know the resources and opportunities available to you, and be ready to register for classes.
Your Orientation Process
Step 1:聽Self-Paced Online Learning
Opens May 1st
Before registering for an Advising & Orientation (A&O) session, you’ll need to complete two required online courses:
Once both courses are complete, you’ll receive a registration link for your Advising & Orientation session to your UW Email within 5 business days.
Step 2:聽Advising & Orientation
Your A&O experience includes both in-person and online components. You鈥檒l build on what you learned in UWB101, explore campus resources, meet fellow new Huskies, and connect with your academic advisor. Sessions begin in June and run throughout the summer. Participation on both days is mandatory.
Schedule:
Day 1: In-person, on campus
Day 2: Online
Step 3: Class Registration
You will be able to register for classes after completing your Advising & Orientation session. to get started.
Step 4: Welcome Week
Welcome Week will take place during the first week of Autumn quarter. There will be many programs and activities to help you enhance your Husky experience and further your connections on campus!
Peer Coaching
All first year students will be assigned a Peer Coach as part of the聽First-Year Coaching Program.聽 You will meet your Peer Coach at your A&O.聽 In September, you will be contacted by your聽Peer Coach who will serve as your mentor and personal guide to UW Bothell throughout Fall quarter.聽 Your Peer Coach will set-up monthly meetings with you to go over your goals, answer questions, and point you in the right direction as you create your Husky experience.聽聽聽
Technology Needs
For the best orientation experience, use a computer or tablet with internet and sound. Smartphones may limit your ability to fully participate. Be ready to engage in activities and take notes.
