In 1972, Washington State enacted the to assure transparency and access to government records. The is the statutory government transparency compliance office for all University of Washington campuses and for UW Medicine.

The UW Bothell Public Records Liaison assists in the university鈥檚 compliance efforts by coordinating UW Bothell鈥檚 public records and open public meetings.
